5-Year Limited Warranty
The 5-year Limited Warranty has a small upgrade fee, and has the same coverage as the 3-year Limited Warranty. However, this warranty lasts two years longer, giving you even more peace of mind with your purchase. This warranty is extended to you, the original purchaser only, and for the original window in which it was installed.
What is Covered
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, so long as the product was installed in accordance with the installation instructions. It also covers all the internal mechanisms, including the brackets.
What We Will Do
If we find your product has a defect, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the unit with no charge to you. If a particular part is defective, we will send you a replacement part. Repairs and replacements will be made with like or similar parts or products. We will do our best to match the repair or replacement with similar parts or products, but colours may vary and we cannot guarantee an exact match to previous orders or to other non-defective existing products, even if they are in or near the same window. If the product, part, or operating system has been discontinued, we will repair or replace the defective product with the most similar alternative available at the time of repair or replacement.

- Replaceable parts include but are not limited to valance clips, cord locks, tilter mechanisms, cord cleats, bottom rail plugs, equalizers, and tensioners.
- Up to 5 years: Parts will be mailed standard ground shipping at no charge.

Fabric and Slats |
- This includes issues such as warping of slats, vertical vanes breaking, and/or fabric separation.
- Up to 5 years: Product will be remade at no charge.
- After 5 years: Fabric and slats are considered wearable items and are not covered after 5 years.

Restrings |
- Up to 5 years: Select Blinds will restring the product at no charge. The shipping charge is the responsibility of the customer.
- After 5 years: $35 charge for restrings. The shipping charge is the responsibility of the customer.

Vertical Track |
- Operation of the track includes track not tilting or not drawing open/close. This does not include breakage of track stems due to misuse. Replacement tracks are available for $35, plus shipping.
- Up to 5 years: Track will be replaced at no charge. If the track is over 90" wide, a $70 oversize fee will be charged.
- After 5 years: $35 charge for new track. If the track is over 90" wide, an additional $70 fee will be charged.

Product Not Raising or Losing Tension |
- Up to 5 years: Product will be remade at no charge.
- After 5 years: All materials can lose original intensity and the life of cords varies depending on use.
- These things are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered after 5 years.
